The Translator Earbuds are a very clever and convenient easy-to-use device for breaking down language barriers. They’re compatible with both iOS and Android devices and offer a sleek design that fits snugly in your ear. They were super easy to set up, simply follow the instructions included to download the app and you are up and running. The earbuds can translate speech in real-time for up to 40 languages, both online and offline with no wi-fi needed, plus the earbuds are very comfortable to wear and have great sound quality, making them perfect for listening to music or podcasts while you travel. If you’re looking for a way to explore different cultures and communicate with people from around the world, the Timekettle M3 Language Translator Earbuds are definitely worth considering.Thank you for reading my review, I hope you found it helpful.

Timekettle M3 Language Translator Earbuds, Two-Way Translator Device with APP for 40 Languages & 93 Accents Online, Offline Translator for Exploring Expat Life Freely, Compatible with iOS & AndroidI was a little sceptical at first as to how good these little ear buds would be, but I was pleasantly surprised!First of all, the box is well made and the product is well packaged. It is easily on par with more premium products. You get the earbuds, charging case (more on that in a moment!), Usb-c to usb-a charging cable, different size tips for the earbuds, instructions, quick guide and a ‘Fish card’ to download offline translation files. The case is actually very cool and works really well. It splits in two halves like cracking open an egg, with an ear bud in each half. There seems to be a battery in each half so they will charge themselves even if the case isn’t closed (I think). The magnets on the case and the earbuds are super strong! The case can either stick together as one piece, or the two can sit side-by-side and remain stuck together. The earbuds snap back into their respective halves very easily and with good strength to the magenta so no chance of them falling out of the case, or the case falling open. The sound quality is great for what they are. Decent amount of bass, and while they’re not going to be up there with proper mainstream branded earbuds they certainly do the job.The software is pretty straightforward, though it does ask a few too many marketing questions when registering if you ask me. The app also seems to want access to absolutely everything on your phone, so be careful what you let it have access to.The translation actually works really well! Despite the fact I was using it online rather than offline, there was barely a hesitation or delay at all.The elephant in the room here though, is that while this is a fantastic idea, and the earbuds are obviously tailored specifically for the software….Google Translate does most of this for free. I struggle to see the need to spend as much as this is something that is offered as a free service elsewhere.Other than that, this is an excellent product. 5 stars.

These are truly amazing! They are fairly easy to use and work straight out of the box, just follow the instructions to download the app and then work from there. It’s incredible that they can listen and instantly translate straight into your ears, making travelling so much easier but also it makes it allot easier to learn another language too. The ear buds are comfortable in your ears and do not block out outside noise which makes them easy and comfortable to wear for long periods. You can also use them to listen to music or podcasts etc which also makes them a great travelling companion. The only thing I am not so keen on is the split storage box, it magnetically snaps together but I don’t see why it needs to come into two halves and this would be a bit of a pain when travelling but that’s just my opinion and it dosent detract from the actual use of the earbuds in translation. These are an absolute must for travelling whether for holidays or business, a hefty investment but I don’t think you would regret it when trying to order your next meal on holiday or get directions in a foreign land.

A great concept and they look just like normal headphones. They translate quite well. Better than I expected. Pricey but if you need them then they are worth it!

  6. PB

They seem to work reasonably well! Better then expected. Better half speaks Spanish and I am passable in German. Using these was able to communicate more effectively. Not perfect, was a few nuances it fell over on, but for most the part pretty exceptional and better then expect.Getting them set up is relatively straight forward and easy to get going. Download app following instructions which are simple enough and away you go. Overall pretty happy. Ideal if your planning to travel a great deal.

I guess you pay for the technology with these, I was fascinated to see how these work, we go to France every year my wife has quite a good understanding of the French language but with me not so good, I know a few basics but to old to really learn, so will these make a difference? These are just ear buds, like any other they come in a nice little case that clips together via a magnet and charges the ear buds, like any other they support music and phone calls, the great part is they will translate, you do need like everything nowadays an App, on the App you have five modes, touch mode, listen mode, speaker mode, chat and learn any where modes.Touch mode with this you give one ear bud to the other person, not sure I like the idea of giving a stranger one of my ear buds though, but touch the bud and start talking and the other person will hear the translation and visa versa when they talk.Listen mode, you place your phone near the speaker and it will translate what they say direct to your ear bud.Speaker mode is similar, you listen with the ear buds and the other person talks at your phone, the translation is displayed on the phone as well as you hearing it.Chat, I’m not sure about but guessing it’s what it says a chat.Learn any where, I only took a quick look at this, it’s a way to help you practice language, French was not there and I imagine it would need to be down loaded but this looks like a good way to help speak a language.I did have some trouble trying to choose French as the other other language it kept translating English into Chinese, the instructions are not that good, someone with tech knowledge would have no problem, I have semi tech knowledge and it took me a bit of trial and error, if you are not technically minded there might be better instructions online. These support around 40 languages and they pick sound up really well, I have not yet tried these out in the field so to speak, but if you know what language someone is speaking and stand close to them you will get a translation, I worked in a multi cultural environment where many employees would chat away in the native tongue and I would have no idea what they where chatting about, with these buds it’s possible to now know.Negatives? well none that where worth knocking a star off for, they are pricey I also found a little difficulty choosing the language but found once done it’s not that hard to do, comfort to me not as comfortable as my other normal ear buds but not uncomfortable for ear buds.I am looking forward to trying these out for real and so far quite impressed with them.
